Hello and good morning everybody
Here in Dublin the weather is overcast with plenty of rain out there !!

Many thanks for all your replies to last week's "nutrition"
with a very clear message from Holly Butcher with great advice
to appreciate every moment we have !!

During the week I was working with teenagers and I asked them
to tell me what songs with meaningful lyrics speak to them today ??
one suggestion was to listen to  " the A Team" sung by Ed Sheeran.
and having looked at the lyrics and listened to the song
I realised :     " there but for the grace of God, go I "
my conclusion is that we should listen to young people more !!

open the link ... have the lyrics open too as attached
and just listen... + have the sound on.

also see some supportive posters on the theme :
(i)  " I have been broken "... and made stronger !!

(ii)  " Addiction " .... is a special type of hell !!

(iii)  " Drugs to me.... "

(iv)  " Hello my name is drugs "  well worth a read.

Share with your family and friends especially teenagers.

Have a good week and take care..patm.

The A Team
White lips, pale face
Breathing in snowflakes
Burnt lungs, sour taste
Light's gone, day's end
Struggling to pay rent
Long nights, strange men
And they say
She's in the Class A Team
Stuck in her daydream
Been this way since eighteen
But lately her face seems
Slowly sinking, wasting
Crumbling like pastries
And they scream
The worst things in life come free to us
Cause we're just under the upper hand
And go mad for a couple grams
And she don't want to go outside tonight
And in a pipe she flies to the Motherland
Or sells love to another man
It's too cold outside
For angels to fly
Angels to fly
Ripped gloves, raincoat
Tried to swim and stay afloat
Dry house, wet clothes
Loose change, bank notes
Weary-eyed, dry throat
Call girl, no phone
And they say
She's in
